What’s a junior member?

A junior is a person aged 16 years or under as at 1 October 2011.

What’s the difference between a Junior Member and the Little Rebels Club?

A Junior Member receives a match ticket to all 8 home matches. The Little Rebels Club involves a fun coaching afternoon with the RaboDirect Rebels. The Little Rebels Club does not include a match ticket.

Do I need to pay for my toddler?

Children under 3 are admitted free but they must be seated on the lap of an accompanying adult.

What constitutes a family?

A family ticket is for 4 seats, consisting of 2 adults & 2 juniors OR 1 Adult & 3 juniors

I have a family of 5. What do I do?

You’ll need to purchase either an adult or junior ticket in addition to your family ticket to get 5 seats in total.

When will I receive my Membership Cards?

If you order prior to 1 November 2011, your membership cards will be mailed to you the week prior to Christmas.

If you order after 1 November 2011, you’ll receive your membership pack before the first 2012 home match.

How does the monthly payment plan work?

There are three monthly payments.

  1. The first instalment of your 3 payment plan will be debited from the credit card you provide on the date of purchase.
  2. The second and third instalments will be deducted on the same day over the following two months. (e.g. If your 1st payment is made on 15 August, your 2nd will be debited on 15 September and your 3rd on 15 October).
  3. There is an additional payment plan fee of $5.00, with $2.50 debited in addition to payment 2 and $2.50 debited in addition to payment 3.

Is my Membership card transferable?

Yes. If you can’t attend a match, you can give your membership card to a friend or relative.

My mate’s not a member. If I bring him to the game, can he sit next to me?

Unfortunately, no. Membership packages feature reserved seating only. However, if you’re a Blue member with General Admission seats, you can sit next to your friends.

What type of access will I have to Wallabies Test match tickets?

Your membership will entitle you to a Priority Booking Period for all 2012 Wallabies test matches played in Melbourne.

Will I have the same seats for the entire season?

If you purchase a Weary Dunlop Rugby Club, Platinum, Gold or Silver packages you’ll enjoy the same reserved seating allocation for the entire season.

Blue packages feature unreserved seating behind the goals. That means you can choose your seat for each match.

How many home matches will the Melbourne Rebels play?

The RaboDirect Rebels will host eight (8) home matches.

How much will it cost to purchase a ticket to the match?

Match day ticket prices for 2012 RaboDirect Rebels home matches are shown at www.melbournerebels.com.au

How do I apply for disabled seating?

To request disabled seating (such as wheelchair or easy access) you can:

  1. Respond to your confirmation email stating your request
  2. Apply in writing to memberships@melbournerebels.com.au
    OR
  3. Call us on 1300 069 413.

Where can I sit undercover?

Please note that seats allocated in all membership categories below the AAMI Park Stadium roofline don’t guarantee protection from the elements.

How do I sit with my friends who are members?

When you’re renewing or booking online either book together or respond to our confirmation email and state you’d like to sit with another member.

You’ll need to provide us with their MyRugby ID.

If you’re booking via fax or mail, simply submit your Membership Application forms in the one fax or envelope.

How will I know if my Membership Application has been received?

If you’ve applied online, you’ll receive two confirmation emails. One will confirm your payment.

If you’ve submitted your application form via mail or fax, you’ll receive a confirmation email within 48 hours (Be sure to provide us with a valid email address).

How do I replace my Membership card if it’s lost or stolen?

Please contact the RaboDirect Rebels Membership team on 1300 069 413 during business hours. A $20 administration fee applies to replace each Membership Card.

What about parking at AAMI Stadium?

Please remember, parking throughout Melbourne and Olympic Parks is severely limited.

What public transport can I take to the games?

Take any metro train to Richmond Station or the Route 70 tram (AAMI Park stop or Hisense Arena stop), which will get you very close to the ground. AAMI Park is approximately a 20-minute walk from Flinders Street Station.

Where do I sit if I buy Weary Dunlop Rugby Club Memberships?

You’ll be seated in premium undercover seating, situated immediately in front of the exclusive Weary Dunlop Rugby Club lounge and bar facilities located on level 2 of the Eastern side of the ground. Weary Dunlop Rugby Club members will have access to the best seats in the stadium.

Can I pay cash?

No. Only credit card (Visa, Mastercard and AMEX) and cheque payments will be processed.

What is the advantage of purchasing a Blue membership over purchasing General Admission tickets to each game?

Blue membership is that members get General Admission tickets to 8 games for the price of 7. There are also additional members-only benefits.

What concessions are included in the concession packages?

Concession Membership Fees apply to holders of a current Pension Card (aged, single parent or disability), Veteran Affairs or TPI Association of Victoria card, or students holding a full-time Student Card for 2011. Seniors cards will not be accepted.

Membership Fees

Where applicable, RaboDirect Rebels will set the annual Membership Fee each year.

Membership Cards and packages will be issued after successful submission of a Membership Application to RaboDirect Rebels.

A three (3) installment payment plan is available for all RaboDirect memberships. To be eligible the first installment must be paid no later than 21 January 2012. The first installment must be paid by credit card at the time of application. Deductions from your credit card will be made on the same date as the first installment in the following two months, for example if the first installment is paid on 15 December 2011 the following two installments will be deducted from your credit card on 15 January 2012 and 15 February 2012. A $5.00 fee is incurred, charged at $2.50 on each of the second and third installments.

From 22 January 2012 a two (2) part payment plan is available.  To be eligible the first installment must be paid no later than 1 March 2012.  The first installment must be paid by credit card at the time of application. Deductions from your credit card will be made on the same date as the first installment in the following month, for example if the first installment is paid on 5 February 2012 the following installment will be deducted from your credit card on 5 March 2012. A $5.00 fee is incurred, charged on the second installments.

A 2% Credit Card Fee will be applied to all Visa & Mastercard payments. A 3% credit card fee will be applied to all American Express payments. The entire fee will be levied on the first payment if you choose the payment plan.
